The Challenge

Founded in 1851, the Bank of the Philippine Islands has become a leading provider of financial services in the Philippines. Today, these services include mobile banking through the use of a smartphone app.

After partnering with telecom giant Globe to remove additional phone charges for the use of the app over a limited time,the venerable bank hired M2.0 to help make people aware of the great convenience BPI’s mobile banking platform could provide.

The Idea

The BPI and Globe mobile partnership had to be announced with authority. M2.0 arranged for the media to personally hear top executives of the two large companies explain the advantages brought about by the partnership for mobile banking.
